This is all high frequency words children need to know how to read and write in Year 1. I organised them into 10 sets with 7 words in each (one page is one set). I use them when working one to one and with the whole class as a quick starter before Guided reading and Literacy. This resource is editable.
This is an interactive resource aimed to consolidate graphemes for reading in Phase 5. Children will read a question and choose three correct answers. This resource is editable so you can always add more questions to focus on a particular sound, topic etc.
Words that can be used for assessment. Used them with my class in order to identify gaps in their phonics, so I could get them ready for the phonics screening check.

Children take turns to pull a word from a bucket, if they read it correctly they keep it if not it goes back in the bucket (you can provide children with a timer).
